Position : Makeup Artist

Beauty Background : I have been working as a professional MUA for 10 years, and a Bridal MUA for the past 5!!! I have an extensive background in the Fine Arts - something that has proven to be very useful in my career as a MUA; aside from my hands-on experience, I am completely self-taught! I got my start in the beauty industry in 2013 with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, where I soon became the Artistry coach + lead for my team. I stayed with Bobbi Brown for 3.5 years, as I worked my way through my associate’s degree in Digital Art and Design. Looking for a change and a career less sales-focused, I accepted a position with Sephora, where I worked for 2.5 years. The experience I gained in retail beauty is invaluable to me; I learned the ins and outs of professional, hands-on, client service and experience. I learned to work with all ages, ethnicities, skin tones and types - something I am very passionate about. I left retail beauty in 2019, and began my career with the Baltimore-based esthetic space, the loft, where I currently work as the Marketing + Creative Director (I actually get to use my degree!!!). Although no longer a full-time job for me, Bridal Beauty is now my super fun, EXTRA-creative outlet that I feel extremely lucky to have.
Highlight of my career : The beauty industry as a whole has had such an amazing impact on my life. It has allowed me to build such wonderful, potentially life-long friendships with teammates AND clients. I remain connected with so many of my past clients and brides; it’s an absolute pleasure watching them grow into their lives, careers, marriages and families!
Current favorite bridal beauty trends : Although these ARE technically current trends, they’re “styles” I have honestly always gravitated towards: I’m really into blush, and using it to warm the face. I’m also alllll about fluffy natural brows and lashes, glowing skin that actually looks like skin, and lip gloss.
Top three products/tools I can’t live without : Cream blushes/bronzers, my fav lip glosses, and OF COURSE the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter.
Guilty pleasures : Reality TV nights with my girl friends, and getting my nails done every 2 weeks - it makes me feel like a real human being. Plus, they’ll always look pretty in your getting-ready photos!
