Beauty Background : I have been in the industry for 17 years now. I started when I was in high school by attending cosmetology at school of tech. I fell in love with styling and was always offering to style my friends hair for every event. I quickly knew that bridal hair would be my passion.
Career highlight : Opening my salon was a full circle moment for me. I dreamed to be on main street in the town I grew up in. It felt so surreal when it finally was accomplished.
Current favorite bridal beauty trends : The French twist has been a favorite. I love when styles make a come back but become more modernized. I am also obsessed with Hollywood waves. I love styles that look soft and effortless, that never go out of style.
Top products/tools I can’t live without : My 1 inch bioionic curling iron for sure. Moroccan oil volumizing powder and my magnetic Bobbi pin bracelet.
Guilty pleasure : Couch rotting in pajamas on an entire Sunday, Rock concerts and Afterpay

She was so easy to work with and has a great personality making the day of even more enjoyable! My mom and I both did trials before my wedding and Katie offered plenty of suggestions and ideas. She even helped me decide how much length to cut off my hair to ensure my final look was exactly as I wanted. After our trials, she took our feedback and offered some suggestions for the day of and created perfect looks for both of us.
On the day of the wedding Katie was on time and ready to start! She worked through the entire bridal party with ease and gave everyone a perfect look that matched what they wanted and then some! Where do you even start with someone as amazing as Katie!!! First and foremost, Katie is the most diligent hair artist I have ever come across. She never stops learning the new and best techniques. There is not a single style that Katie cannot do with ease, and somehow she always makes it look flawless. You will never have a better hair day than when Katie does your hair. And for a day as big as your wedding, you want someone like Katie that cares as much about perfection as you do. Her personality is incredible, she can always laugh with you and the girls taking the edge off your nerves. Katie did my hair for both my wedding and my pageant and I honestly have never looked better.
